HEBE

Hebe was the Goddess of everlasting youth and beauty, the mistress of elegance and charm. She was the youngest daughter of Zeus and Hera. The name Hebe, in the Greek language means “youth”. Hebe had influence over eternal youth - a power exclusive to her. She had the ability to restore youth to mortals and ensure the eternal youth of gods.

Hebe was the cupbearer for the gods and goddesses of Mount Olympus serving them Ambrosia and nectar that made the Olympian gods immortal. In art, she is typically seen with her father disquised as an eagle, holding a cup with ambrosia. 

As a deity, Hebe was one of Hera's handmaidens and her job was to prepare the royal chariot. She was also the Goddess of forgiveness.

Hebe later married the popular demigod Hercules and had two children with him – Alexiares and Anicetus.
