Vintage oil on canvas painting of woman with child reproduced version after Renoirs famous "On the Terrace" painting. Painted in the impressionist style this has an almost naive quality to it. The portrait scene depicts a lady with young child sitting in a garden abounding with flowers, perhaps they are flower sellers. Painted in a whimsical style the colors are bright and freely applied. This vintage oil on canvas is encompassed in an apt period frame which most likely dates from the 1960's or 1970's in construction. It is signed on the bottom right of the canvas by the artist Langdon with their first initial being either D, P or O.
